I found this novelty book as a freebie in the Kindle Store and spent a pleasant half hour reading it. As long as it's free, I would definitely recommend downloading it (and my rating reflects satisfaction at that "price"), but should it ever cease to be free, I would advise downloading a sample first to see if it's something you wouldn't mind paying, perhaps, a dollar for (but definitely no more).Every page/screen has a cartoonish illustration, large-print caption, and a brief (and usually interesting) several-line comment, observation, factlet, or factoid all of which are presented in no particular order or grouping. For instance, we learn what a hair-ball is really called (a "bezoar"), and we are told the name of the first cat launched into space -- but we also are informed that "cats can talk" and "cats do not wear hats." For some reason, however, in these last two instances the author erroneously spells "cats" (plural) with an apostrophe to show possession (as in "cat's can talk.") Possession of what? Doesn't anyone understand the difference between plurals and possessives any more? In a large caption this error is rather jarring. Also, information is repeated and sometimes seems contradictory, such as telling us on one page that cats don't need baths, but a few pages later, advising us to clip their nails before bathing them. Nowhere are sources for any of the information provided. But overall, the book is pleasantly informative and fun to read. I BRIEFLY enjoyed it.
ADDENDUM [07/03/15]: Sometime after I wrote the above, the price went from being free to $.99 and then later jumped to $2.99; it was certainly NOT a good value at THAT price. Then it became free once again, but shortly returned to $.99. Then it went back to $2.99 before becoming $1.99. Given all these price fluctuations, you may wish to wait and see if it will once again be offered for either $.99 or free.

Cat Trivia edition by Elliot Carruthers Crafts Hobbies Home eBooks Reviews
Good book...read it without stopping. Learned new things that changed misunderstanding. Would buy again!! I have passed it along to other cat lovers.
Although I have lived with cats all my life, I learned quite a bit about them reading this book. Very informative and funny.
It is a very quick read and quite enjoyable. I did learn that there is a cat door that works like a garage door and opens due to a chip on the cat. But most of the book is about the things that cats do. The cute little buggers!
This book is definitely for cat lovers! Nothing really new if you already have a cat, but cute illustrations make for an enjoyable, quick read.
Also recommended as a gift for new or potential cat owners.
Cat Trivia funny facts was a very informative book. Seemed to throw out some facts to me that I had not known. Fun to read and informative with a twist of humor.
Cute cartoon drawings and fun facts for cat lovers. I'd recommend this for elementary aged children as far as text difficulty. My daughter LOVES it. I did note however that some facts were repeated or were more of an opinion or humorous spin vs. solid facts. This was still a quick read which did produce some lesser known facts which I didn't even know. If recommend but advise against setting too high of expectations.
I thought this cartoon book was okay. Target audience elementary school level children who are interested in cats. Each page has a couple of sentences with various facts about cats. I would not describe the information as funny (as the title implies) dogs and cats can be friends, chocolate is bad for cats, and so forth.
